NURSING
Nurses play a key role at Naufar, assisting with rehabilitation and treatment. Addiction is both physically and psychologically taxing, requiring nurses skilled in medical care and mental health. From day one at the treatment programme, our nurses help maintain a warm, comfortable, and friendly environment for our patients.

Naufar provides nursing coverage for 24 hours a day to help keep patients safe and comfortable as they work through detox, treatment and any mood disorders including anxiety and depression. They are also responsible for checking the patients’ vital signs, and monitoring symptoms of withdrawal.

DIETETICS
Diet plays a significant role in aiding recovery as it helps the body restore nutrients and minerals that have been depleted by the body through substance use. Our dieticians create special and individualised diet plans which focus on improving the patients’ mental and physical functioning while they undergo treatment. Good nutrition is key in retuning patients to health inside out and contribute to a higher quality of life.

RADIOLOGY
The on-site radiology department, staffed by a team of highly qualified radiologists and technologists, provides a number of services including advanced radiology modalities to help monitor patients.

PHARMACY
An in-house pharmacy is located on the ground floor, staffed by highly qualified and experienced pharmacists, handles all inpatient and outpatient needs. The pharmacy is stocked with all required medicines for patients prescribed treatment plan and dispensed by skilled pharmacists. Pharmacists are available to assist patients and answer any medication related questions.

DENTISTRY
Oral health is a big part in ensuring a good quality of life. After substance use, teeth and gums may be damaged and unable to repair on their own. Our best-in-class dental team helps patients restore their teeth to their optimum condition by offering basic dental treatment procedures including crowns, veneers, and periodontal treatment. The dental suite helps patients attain better overall oral health, greater self-confidence, and improve social integration.

ADDICTION PSYCHIATRY
Our psychiatry services are evident base provided to all patients through psychiatry and addiction specialists in accordance to international standards for diagnosis and treatment. It serves to provide patients with compassionate, kind, and empathetic care through our highly skilled psychiatrists. Understanding that every person’s experience is unique, our psychiatrists seek to get to the root of the patients’ disorder to learn what makes it special and help the patient tackle the problem at its core within the multidisciplinary team.
